Hidden Messages in the Movie, “Wicked”

This has turned out to be the highest grossing movie in American history to date. This comes on the heels of America’s most tumultuous General Election in history (2024).

A woman of color was running to be the President of the United States. A descendant of a slave from Africa, and an indentured servant from India. She was going to occupy the house of the WIZARD of OZ ! (THE WHITE HOUSE).

In the original movie, Judy Garland and friends were off to see the WIZARD, who lived in a secluded kingdom that required an invitation, and the wearing of special clothing to be in his presence. Persons with any inequities were garbaged out.

Getting to OZ, draw similar requirements  to be occupants of THE WHITE HOUSE: campaigning, manifestos, and other “attire”

This movie of 2024 WICKED, is written for the screen by a woman. There is no Dorothy, but Ariana Grande without the shoes sure looks like her, then there is the wicked witch played by Cynthia Erivo, British, black, and born to Nigerian parents. In the movie, she is named Elphaba, whose skin is green. She is laughed at, scorned, and had to trick her way to get an education alongside her sister who is white! AFFIRMATIVE ACTION? But Elphaba has special talents only known by the Wizard, so far that reason he sends for her to visit him.

My studies of history smacked me in the face. The 13 colonies across the Atlantic needed a labor force to withstand the heat, plant cotton and sugar cane, and to multiply the labor pool. Who had such special unique naturals? i.e. Africans!

ELPHABA arrives at the Wizard’s castle, and found him to be a MISCREANT. He and his soldiers were Hitlerites, and wanted her to help him expand his empire.

Here was this green skinned woman, dressed like a witch, with her only known weapon of defense, her broom!

Could she turn fortunes around and overturn the treacherous, and wickedly entrenched Wizard of Oz?

What was Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate for President of the United States saying in 2024? Was she on the same path as ELPHABA? Hilary Clinton was like Ariana Grande (Glinda)!

WICKED, the movie could be the spark for the reloading of the female charioteers to take the WHITE HOUSE in four years. Had this happened in 2024, WICKED, the movie, would have become the world’s grossest financial success ever, in movie history.
