“YOU’LL BE FREE OR DIE” were the words of Marylander and Freedom Fighter, HARRIET TUBMAN. It is said that many of the people she took to freedom, did not know they were in slavery.
The Lyric Baltimore MD., has an education program to awaken middle school students, who are unaware of their enslavement. DENISE GANTT IS THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR, using Harriet Tubman as the logo for inspiration, this year.
