AT THE WALTERS ART GALLERY, IN BALTIMORE MARYLAND.
Can you see the relationship between the two? One may ask which comes first,” the chicken or the egg”?
The artist may conceive an idea, and in his/her studio begin to transform the art to canvas. At the time of transformation, this artist required quiet, deep concentration to materialize the idea in the brain, the hippocampus.
Let’s say this piece has a reference to the artist’s experience on the Chesapeake Bay, a blistery rainy day: flying creatures, underground inhabitants, speed boats, and people, all looking for shelter of some kind.
To capture these emotions au natural, may take one year of experimentation.
Now that the work is done, it needs to be framed and exhibited.

At the time of the exhibition a musician looked at the piece with fascination, went home, and in his/her studio began writing a piece to compliment the painting.
MONA LISA was painted by Leonardo da Vinci. NAT KING COLE sang a beautiful ballad, that healed and broke hearts untabulated.
This fall, I took a trip to the WALTERS ART GALLERY, to their renewed program of ART and SOUND. I NOW BRING YOU THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE EVENING:
